  1. i read a few blogs by prisoners and ex prisoners. You are the most honest and straight up of them all. Youll be free one day brother,. keep fighting institutionalization.

  2. good description, man. who can really sum up an individual, provided said individual is not cartoonishly limited in thought and deed? people like you and me, we’re like diamonds in the rough. only, one would have to haul us out of the muck and give us a good washing off before it’s evident what we are. i could write a thousand lines and never get at the real heart of what makes me, me. your writing does remind me of ol’ hunter s, to a certain degree. like him, and myself, and vonnegut too, you write for the common man, in an informal style, dripping with irony and humor, to describe large social concerns in ways that people can relate to. i also look forward to your eventual return to the stage. hopefully by then i’ll be a famed producer of films, and we can colaborate. i’ve already written you into a half-dozen scripts, including the account of the way you and i first got “off the track”, ending with me in the army, and you here. that one particularly is like a funnier “requiem for a dream”… -d
